Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik tied the nuptial knot today as the two families advanced the high-profile marriage by three days after a tumultuous build up to the wedding.
Originally, the marriage was to take place on April 15 although stories on the re-scheduling of the marriage kept coming in the media.
"The nikah has now completed. Please pray for the couple," Sania's spokesperson Rucha Nayak told reporters.
Today from 9 'o' clock onwards all the news channels got 'MASALA' as sania's p.r.o informed media that sania is going to get marry shoaib today at 1 'o' clock.
Within a minute braking news started flashing on almost every national and local or regional newschannels.
That were like 'SANIA WORE HER MOTHER'S SAREE','SHOAIB WORE BLACK SHERWANI',
WHO WERE THE GUEST','WHEN KAZI ARRIVED' AND DECORATIONS MADE,MEDIA GATHERING ETC ETC
NEWS 24 ALSO PROVIDED THE DETAILED MENU OF THE RECEPTION WHICH IS SHEDULED ON 15.A CHEF FORM PAKISTAN AND TEAM OF 'TAJ KRISHNA'WILL LOOK AFTER THE LAVISH FOOD ARRANGEMENTS.THE MENU INCLUDES '7 STARTERS,23 PAKWAN'S,HYDRABAD'S SPL PATTHAR KA GOSHT, 2 TYPES OF BIRYANIS AND NORTH,SOUTH INDIAN DISHES,CONTINENTAL,THAI,CHINESE FOOD ETC ETC.............
When i saw the news on news 24 i ignored it,but while surfing i found that almost every channel (star, aaj tak, ndtv, ibn, star majha, ibn lokmat were also running the same braking story 'Sania tied knot with Shoaib'
now my question is is the news is so important? i do not say that there is no news value, but media made it so big ..............
Covering happenings in celebrities life is the part of journalism but to what extent?

ReplyDeletechayla!! Mazya potawar pay ani journalism chi tattwa!! Kadhi baher padnare lok....! Aso! Me paise kamawto! Why do I care?
ReplyDeletewhy the Indian media are dis-trying two lover person?
ReplyDeletei think there is a beg problems in the political sections and the political person not want to arriving both of them.
the government of Pakistan is bad and some people not all people of Pakistan.
all Indian people says that Bangladesh, Pakistan they are belong to India, but now they not want to promote this idea from this way.
our God will punish all bad people, but i know the people of India is very good than Pak people.
so i request to all people that leave this important points that is belong to two unguilty person that they want to arrive to their love.
It’s sad to see to the levels journalists have dropped to. In the rat race to get more TRP, the channels are covering anything and everything calling it as “breaking” news and to remain in the race, the newspapers are following them.
ReplyDeleteEven in the past there used to be controversies between celebs. Take for eg the affection between Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan. But such news were always a “shoo shoo” not only in the media but also among the film industry. Dragging the personal life of celebs in public is unethical journalism.
