2 plays based on Homosexuality

I saw 2 plays, which are based on the subject HOMOSEXUALITY. One is 'Na Yetee Uttare' (a play in Marathi & English-bilingual) & another one is 'Dreams Of Talim' (in English, Hindi & Marathi-trilingual). Both plays tells about the subject very simply. These plays help us for changing our view towards Homosexuality & also towards gays & lesbians........ Do see.

Synopsis says.......

He is out with his family and some people close to him. Ashutosh is confused. He is aware of his difference, but is unable to accept it even to himself. He is facing many questions about himself and his sexual orientations. He is terrified by certain experiences.

Ashutosh and Ranjeet meet in the college and it leads to a new relation.

  1. Why do we need to see plays to change our perspectives? Cant we respect people's individuality? Jst like I have a right to choose whom i like and so "NO" to someone whom i dont like, cant the person next to me have the same right? Why is he forced to choose someone whom he doesnt want to be with? If I cant get along with the same-sex person and spend my life in peace and satisfaction , why should I choose someone else?

My views on homosexuals might be too liberal and many of my friends may not like it. But guys this is not a war and if I say I have known the nature of many of you guys I just want to say one thing. DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONALLY ;) Its time to change and grow up..

  4. By the way whose 'synopsis' is this?
Topic is really serious. I agree with Nisha- that we have to respect 'the individuality'. But I am also personally against glorifying such matters. If it is personal keep it like that. Don't descriminate and don't hype.
